for the best web host. The price is VERY reasonable and support has
always top notch.

Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, I believe
Site5 has the best deal going. You may find something cheaper but I
doubt it will be better. Their cheapest single site package at this
writing is just $3.50 per month! (Watch out though - that's the rate
if you order 10 years worth up front!)
I would recommend you go for 12 or 24 months; you
are still looking at under $7.00 a month. This is a small investment
but a very important investment. Believe me,
you don't want to have host nightmares. And it is possible, even
likely, if you don't choose a reputable web host. I know, I've been
there.
This is a good solid starting place if you want to
build your own website.

Support Too
Site5 has their own interface for managing your
site which is based on the standard cPanel. It works like a charm
and is easy to understand and use. From within SiteAdmin, you can
manage all aspects of your account including email, FTP, databases,
domains, subdomains, traffic stats, webmail and more.
You will get the standard stuff like Fantastico
which allows you to install over 50 software applications at the
push of a button (think easy WordPress blog setup), unlimited
mySQL databases (some hosts charge extra), email forwarders,
autoresponders, etc., stats, and on and on.
I've been through my share of bad hosts, so learn
from my experience (and headaches!) so you can get on with the
business of building your site. Site5 is a good choice.
